Oral Fluid Tests to detect drug drivers

The Tasmania Police targets for conducting Oral Fluid Tests to detect drug drivers have increased this financial year. The 2013 -14 Budget Chapter target for Oral Fluid Tests conducted was 1300, and the actual result was 1819 tests. The 2014 -15 Budget Chapter target is to conduct 1500 Oral Fluid Tests (an increase of 200)…

Queen Street Assault – Attempted Murder Charge

Last night Detectives charged a 61 year old man with the attempted murder of a 52 year old man at a house in Queen Street, Sandy Bay, on Sunday night.

A 52 year old man is in hospital in a critical condition after being assaulted last night between 5pm and 7.30pm at a house in Queen Street, Sandy Bay.
