U-Turn program changes lives

The graduates of U-Turn Course 45 presented a restored Ford Falcon to Alison Lander from Burnie. Ms Lander’s sons Fletcher and Spencer suffered major burns in a car fire in 2012 and require ongoing medical treatment.

At approximately 13.50 hrs on Sunday the 15th of June 2014, a three car crash occurred at the junction of the Bass Highway and Mount Street at Burnie.

Northern Police make arrests for firearms offences and assaulting police

Shortly after midnight on Saturday 14th June 2014, uniformed officers intercepted a Ford Falcon sedan in Elphin Road Newnham. A search of the vehicle and its occupants resulted in police locating a loaded .38 revolver in the possession of the driver.
