Stealing from Police Compound (28 Dec)

Tasmania Police are investigating a motor vehicle stealing that occurred around 11.15pm on Saturday 28 December 2013. The vehicle was stolen from the Tasmania Police vehicle compound at Patrick Street, Hobart.

Fatal crash involving cyclist – Riverside (29 Dec)

At 0825am on Sunday the 29th December 2013 two cyclists were on a training ride on the West Tamar Highway, Riverside. They were travelling on the left hand side of the left lane when the outer cyclist was struck from behind by a white Nissan utility.

Shed fire, Beaconsfield (26 Dec)

At approximately 9pm on 26/12/13 Tasmania Police attended a shed fire at Weld Street Beaconsfield. The shed was well ablaze when Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service attended, with approximately $50,000 damage caused as a result of the fire.

Waterfront Assault (21 Dec)

Police are seeking information from any member of the public who may have witnessed an assault committed upon a 40 year old man in the vicinity of Waterman’s Dock, near the Observatory Nightclub, around 2am on Saturday 21 December 2013.
