Youth extradited from Western Australia

A 17 year old male was extradited from Perth Western Australia over the weekend and charged in relation to the Aggravated Armed Robbery of a taxi driver in January.

Operation Crossroads – Easter Period Police Operations

Operation Crossroads a nation-wide road safety campaign over the Easter period has concluded with Tasmania recording no fatalities. Overall, Tasmania Police commend the Tasmanian Community for heading the road safety message.

Missing person – Zedric Woolley

Zedric Basil Woolley was last seen by a family member at midday on Saturday the 7th of April this year and a staff member of Banjos Huonville is the last known person to see him.

Easter road safety – Operation Crossroads

Police are urging motorists to allow themselves extra time to reach their destinations this Easter. The National Easter road toll reporting period began at 0001 hours this morning (Thursday 5 April) and concludes at 2359 hours on Monday 9 April.

Business burglary charges

On 2 April 2012, Detectives from Eastern Criminal Investigation Branch charged a 32 year old man from West Moonah with Burglary and Stealing.
