St Helens Marine Police have seized a recreational fishing vessel and fishing equipment worth approximately $100,000.

At about 9:50pm last night, an armed robbery of a taxi driver occurred at Mowbray.

New Zealand Certificates of Appreciation

On Thursday, 8 December 2011, the High Commissioner for New Zealand will present Certificates of Appreciation to a group of four Tasmania Police officers for their work in Christchurch after the earthquake in February 2011.

Operation Unite in Tasmania

Tasmania Police detected a total of 88 offences over the weekend of Operation Unite: A Blitz Against Drunken Violence. Operation Unite was run over the Friday and Saturday nights (2-3 Dec) in Hobart, Launceston, Burnie and Devonport.
