Bag snatch arrest

On Wednesday 24 August 2011 an incident occurred in the Kempling Street Car Park where a 79-year-old woman’s purse was snatched from her handbag by a man riding a bike.

Restaurant armed robbery

On Tuesday 23 August 2011 at approximately 7:50pm a male person armed with a firearm entered the Hungry Jacks restaurant in South Launceston and made demands for money.
