Launceston CIB is seeking assistance from the community in relation to two reports of firearms incidents.

Just before 6am this morning police were called to a property in Kay Street, Kings Meadows, in response to a report of a firearm discharged.

And just after 9.10am, police were called to Willow Lane, Prospect Vale, in relation to a reported discharge of a firearm.

No one was injured and no property was damaged in either incident.

No formal complaint has been made, but police are investigating the reports and would like to hear from anyone who has information about these incidents.  Please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
