At about 10.40pm on Wednesday the 27th April 2011 police attended a report of a fire at Prossers Forest Road, Ravenswood. On arrival the residence was completely engulfed in flames and this fire was extinguished by members of the Tasmania Fire Service.

At the time of the fire, which is believed to have been deliberately lit, the residence was unoccupied.  Investigations are continuing regards this incident and police would like any member of the public who has any information in relation to this matter to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
