A search is currently underway for a man missing in bushland at Nunamara, in the north of the state.

With permission from the family, police can confirm 32-year-old Corey was last seen off the Mt Barrow Discovery Trail on Sunday evening.

Police search and rescue personnel conducted the search today alongside Tasmanian Mounted Search and Rescue members and SES volunteers.

Helicopter and drone resources were also deployed, as well as ATVs.

The search is expected to resume tomorrow.

There are concerns for Corey’s welfare, and anyone with information is urged to contact police on 131 444.
