Search for missing person Rachel Funari
The Bruny Island search for United States national Rachel Funari will today focus on the shoreline and cliffs in the Fluted Cape area.
The tracker/detection dog unit from New South Wales will this morning check walking tracks in the area.
This afternoon a Police vessel will transport the dog unit to search the shoreline at the base of cliffs.
These areas have been previously searched by land and sea based teams, and deployment of the dog will ensure any inaccessible areas have been covered.
The Tasmania Police Search and Rescue team will also scale cliffs along the track for any sign of Ms Funari.
It has been 13 days since Ms Funari was last seen at a shack on Bruny Island. Police are in regular contact with her family to keep them up to date with the progress of the search.
