Serious Assault

At about 10pm on Wednesday 13th of February 2013, a 33 year old male was seriously assaulted in Blyth Street, Ravenswood.  The male was punched to the head, causing him to fall backward onto the road.

As a result, the male suffered a serious head injury and was transferred to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.

At about 3pm Thursday 14th of February 2013, members of Northern Crime and Drug Investigation arrested a 34 year Ravenswood man for the assault. He was remanded to appear in an out of hours court.
