Police are seeking further witnesses to the fatal car crash that occurred on the Midland Highway on Sunday the 24^th of March, 2013 around 6.15pm.

Police are particularly interested in speaking to the driver of an early 2000 model Subaru Forester, CRV or similar type vehicle, this vehicle is possibly silver in colour.

It is understood that this vehicle was travelling north on the Midlands Highway just north of Lovely Banks when the deceased was attempting to overtake it shortly before the collision.  The deceased was approximately 50 metres to the rear of this vehicle travelling in the north bound overtaking lane.

It is possible this driver was unaware of the deceased’s vehicle; however the driver may well have seen the south bound Mercedes just prior to the collision.

Police ask the driver of the vehicle if they could contact Southern Crash Investigation Services on 6230 2111.

The investigation is still continuing into the cause of the crash and as such police are unable to make any further comment relating to this ongoing investigation.
