A youth will be proceeded against under the Youth Justice Act in relation to a fire at Ravenswood yesterday.

The fire was reported about 1.30pm and Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police attended the property in Ravenswood Road.

It is estimated that the fire caused up to $400,000 to the property.

The building was occupied at the time of the fire, however everyone safely evacuated the property and no one was injured.
