The Department of Police and Emergency Management has received a large number of expressions of interest in joining Tasmania Police since resuming recruiting on 8 April 2013. 

The process of arranging entrance examinations and job suitability tests is currently occurring.  Applicants deemed suitable to advance will be contacted via email and advised of their advancement.  Applicants who have been unsuccessful at any point during the initial process will be advised via email as soon as possible.

Pleased be assured each applicant will be advised of the outcome of their expression of interest regardless of the result.  Contact will be initiated by recruiting staff to inform applicants of these results, however, if any applicant wishes to clarify relevant details prior to this they are asked to email: recruiting@police.tas.gov.au
