Sadly, police can confirm the body of a man has been located in bushland near Elliott in north-west Tasmania.

The body has yet to be formally identified however it is believed to be missing 49 year old Shane Keith Marshall.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
