At about 11am on Sunday, 8 December 2013 a Honda 600cc motorcycle travelling north on Margaret Street, Beaconsfield has collided with a Holden utility.  The 47 year old rider of the motorcycle from Beaconsfield died at the scene.  

The 77 year old driver of the utility was badly shaken but did not suffer any injuries.

Speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.

A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
