Positive Ticketing Program Builds Relationships

A program designed to reinforce good behaviour by young people is expanding across the North West coast. The Program will soon be rolled out across Burnie, Devonport, Wynyard and Ulverstone with a focus on areas of disadvantage.

Motor Cycle Crash – Campbell Town

At about 10:30am on Sunday the 25th of November 2012, a black Suzuki motorcycle was involved in a crash on Macquarie Road, approximately 3 kilometres North of Campbell Town. As a result a 50 year old male rider was transported to the Launceston General Hospital in a critical condition and underwent surgery for internal injuries.…

On Sunday 25th of November 2012 at approximately 2.20pm police and fire officers were called to a vehicle fire.

Shortly before 3am on Saturday, 24 November 2012, police and ambulance personnel were called to a vehicle parked in Ronald Street, Devonport.

At 7.20 pm on Sunday the 25th of November 2012 an armed robbery was committed at the 9/11 Bottleshop on the Brooker Highway at Lutana.

At 4.36pm on 22 November 2012 a male has entered the Glenorchy News Agency located in the Glenorchy Centro Complex.

Police help spread word about fishery closures

Tasmania Police and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) have reminded recreational fishers that the East Coast non-commercial abalone and rock lobster fisheries are closed and it is illegal to fish.

Tasmania Police Charity Trust Bike Ride (23-25 November 2012)

An ambitious and enthusiastic group of riders is preparing to tackle what is predicted to be the most challenging Tasmania Police Charity Trust Bike Ride yet. The 3-day ride will travel over 420km from Spreyton (on Friday, 23 November) to Hobart.
