New Trailerable Police Vessels

Tasmania Police has taken delivery of five new vessels which will enhance its capability in marine safety and rescue, and policing of marine laws. The seven metre LeisureCats are replacing the Department’s aging ‘Cat’ class vessels.

DPEM Annual Report 2011-2012

The Department of Police and Emergency Management has recorded another year of strong performance in its 2011-12 Annual Report. The strong results show another successful year for reducing crime, with Total Offences down by 11%.
