Medivac from Swansea

At 3:20pm on Thursday 24/11/11 the Westpac Police Rescue Helicopter was activated to attend to a seriously injured man at Swansea.

Armed robbery Royal Park

At about 12.15pm on Wednesday 23 November 2011 a male was walking through Royal Park near the Launceston Rugby Union grounds when he was approached by three males, one who produced a knife and demanded an amount of cash be handed over.

Fraud charges

Late on Wednesday the 23rd of November 2011 detectives from Tasmania Police’s Fraud & e-Crime Investigation Services charged a 37-year-old St Helens woman with offences in relation to an alleged $478,000 fraud from the Department of Education.

A 41-year-old George Town man has been charged with one count of wounding following an incident yesterday afternoon.

Police are seeking assistance from members of the public in relation to a stealing offence which occurred in the dining area of Morty’s Complex on the evening of Friday July 29th.

Around 1pm on 23/11/11 a serious assault is alleged to have occurred at a private address in Allenby St, Mowbray.

Sandy Bay charges

During the early hours of Tuesday morning (22 November 2011) Hobart police arrested an 18 year old man and a 17 year old youth, both of Sandy Bay, while they were in the process of stealing property from yachts moored at the Derwent Sailing Squadron.

A 15 year old youth has been charged with the attempted aggravated armed robbery of the Alanvale Store on 16 November.
