Launceston Police are investigating a firearms incident which occurred in Warring Street, Ravenswood overnight. 

Uniform police responded to the report of firearms being discharged at about 11.15pm and discovered that multiple shots had been fired through the bedroom window of a residence.  One person was present in the home at the time but fortunately, was not injured as a result of the incident.

Police are seeking assistance in identifying the occupants of a small white vehicle with black stripes, possibly a Hyundai, which was observed leaving the scene by witnesses.   Any information can be provided via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or direct to Launceston Police on (03)63363945.
