In the early hours of 13 September 2014, five dwellings in Bellerive were unlawfully entered and a number of items stolen consisting largely of prescription medication, mobile phones and cash.

Glenorchy CIB charged a 33 year old man from the Glenorchy area with the burglaries and the stealing of two motor vehicles from the Bellerive area.

The man appeared in an after- hours court sitting on Sunday 14 September 2014, and was bailed to reappear on 22 September.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles in South Street or Alexandra Esplanade, Bellerive, in the early hours of Saturday 13 September 2014. Any information can be forwarded via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
