Police have been investigating an alleged assault of a woman which occurred at approximately 12.15pm on Wednesday 8 October 2014 in Collins Street, Hobart.

The woman concerned was not physically injured during the incident.

Police have recently obtained an image of a man who was seen at the Village Cinema complex earlier in the morning and believe that he can assist with their enquiries relating to this matter.

The man, or anyone knowing his identity, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
