Emergency+ … the app to help you call the right number at the right time.

More than 66% of calls to Triple Zero (000) are made from mobile phones. But often people calling on their mobile don’t know their exact location, which is critical information in dispatching emergency services.

The Emergency+ app uses the GPS function of smartphones to enable people to provide location information when they call Triple Zero (000).

The app also includes the option of calling the State Emergency Service (SES) 132 500 or Police Assistance Line 131 444 numbers, for non-life threatening incidents.
