Schools go back next week so remember that school zone speed limits will come back into effect.

Remember, when the lights flash on a school bus it means it’s dropping off or picking up children – slow to 40km/hr within 50metres, it’s the law.

To ensure safety, police will be conducting speed and traffic compliance operations around school zones.

Children should be supervised while they wait at bus stops and, where possible, cross the road at designated crossings.
