Wounding incident Pitcairn Street Glenorchy

At 11am on Sunday 21 July 2013 and incident occurred in Pitcairn Street, Glenorchy. The incident involved three people that were all known to each other.

A 52 year old male received a stab wound to his abdomen and a 40 year old female received wounds to her hands. Both victims were transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment, the female was later released, the male was operated on and was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit in a critical condition. 

A 52 year old male was later taken into custody by Glenorchy CIB in relation to the incident. 

The male will face court on Monday 22 July 2013 in relation to the matter.

Glenorchy CIB would like to speak with anyone that may have seen the incident or observed a blue Toyota Camry Sedan leaving the area.
