Launceston detectives are investigating a firearms incident that occurred in the Shirley Place, Chifley Street and Risley Street area of Kings Meadows at 9pm on the 10 June 2014.

At this time, shots were fired at a vehicle being driven by the victim. At least one round has struck the vehicle. Initial investigations have established that an early model green Holden Commodore sedan was in the area at the time of the incident.
