Approximately 19:50 on Friday 04m JUL 2020 a 28 year old male was running west on Esprey Street, Mowbray, when two unknown male offenders have grabbed him and dragged him to the ground.

The offenders have then removed a mobile phone from a zipped pocket in the victim’s jacket and fled on foot toward Mowbray.

As a result of the incident the victim received minor facial injuries, he did not require medical treatment.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.  Police are asking any members of the public who may have observed two tall male offenders in the area at the time, or who may have CCTV covering Esprey Street or Invermay Road (Mowbray) to contact Northern CIB.
