Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Discount Pharmacy, 179 Davey Street, Hobart at around 4.50pm on Saturday 15 December 2018.

The male suspect produced a syringe and demanded medication. The suspect made off with a quantity of prescription medication. He was last seen travelling in a westerly direction on Davey Street.

No one was injured during the incident.

The male is described as:

• Around 180cm
• Aged in his 30’s
• Medium build
• Blonde moustache (possibly a beard)

Wearing:

• A black hoodie
• Black gloves
• Black sunglasses
