About 6.30pm yesterday, police received a call for assistance from two bushwalkers at Lobster Falls Track, Mole Creek.

The walkers had fallen approximately 7-10 metres down an embankment while hiking.

Tasmania Police Search and Rescue teams responded and used vertical rescue techniques and equipment to safely retrieve both walkers.

The rescue was completed at approximately 9pm, with no injuries reported.
