Sadly a man has died as the result of a two vehicle crash in Campania this morning.

Around 10.30am emergency services attended the scene of a crash between a motorbike and car on Colebrook Road, approximately six kilometres north of the township of Campania.

A 62-year-old man from Dynnyrne was killed after the motorcycle he was riding in a northerly direction on Colebrook Road collided with a north-bound white dual cab utility driven by a 59-year-old man from Geilston Bay. The Geilston Bay man was not seriously injured and was transported to hospital for examination.

The crash is currently under investigation by Tasmania Police Crash Investigation Services.  Anyone who may have any information relevant to the crash, and has not already spoken to police, is sked to call 131 444.
