A 13-year-old youth has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Armed Robbery and Assault, following an incident at Moonah, around midday on Friday 10 February 2023.

A second youth aged 15 has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and Assault arising from the same incident.

The youths have detained for court on 11 February 2023.

The victim remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Police are aware that a video depicting the incident is circulating on social media.

Media and members of the public are urged not to publish the video which identifies minors who are the subject of legal proceedings.
