Fatal pedestrian crash – Burnie
Police are calling for witnesses following a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a bus in Burnie today.
A bus collided with a female pedestrian at the intersections of Wilson and Cattley Street about 12.30pm.
Sadly, the woman died at the scene despite efforts by members of the public, including two off-dpolice officers.
Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
