At approximately 2:45am on Tuesday the 14th of December 2010, a fire occurred at the View Restaurant and connecting supermarket located at Garnet Avenue, Coles Bay.

Nearby residents raised the alarm and Tasmania Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire which caused approximately $900,000 damage.

Police are appealing to the public who may have any information in relation to the fire. Information can be provided to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
