At about 6.18pm on Thursday 5th August 2021 police were called to a residence in Hill Street West Hobart in relation to reports of shots being fired at that house.

This was the same house where police attended on 4th June 2021 in relation to an assault incident.

It was apparent that there were fresh gunshot holes in the front of the residence.

The occupants of the house were not injured.

One of the occupants was threatened and the suspect left towards Warwick Street.

Attending uniform police, CIB and Forensic officers were at the scene within minutes however no suspects were identified or located.

Police would like to hear from any person who has information that can assist in furthering the investigation.
