Glenorchy CIB is investigating an incident in which a firearm was discharged in Chigwell, last night.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Maroubra Circle, Chigwell, about 8.20pm last night.

Damage was sustained to a residence in the street, the occupant was unaware that their house had been targeted.

No one was injured during the incident.

A vehicle was seen leaving the area at speed following the shooting.
