Shortly after 1pm yesterday a black Yamaha RI motorcycle was detected riding at high speed at Austins Ferry.  The same motorcycle was then seen by police to be travelling at twice the speed limit in an 80kmh zone on the Midland Highway at Bridgewater whilst on one wheel.

The motorcycle was located at a Bridgewater residence and a 22 year old Bridgewater man was arrested and was charged with several offences.  He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on a later date.  His motorcycle was seized by police.
