Around 9.30am this morning police and emergency services attended a report of a sewerage truck which had rolled in Invermay.

A white sewerage truck was turning right onto Holbrook Street from Forster Street when it rolled failing to successfully navigate the turn.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 43-year-old man from Mowbray was transported to the Launceston General Hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries.

Most of the sewerage that spilled onto the roadway was collected and transferred to another vehicle.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing. At this stage no charges are being contemplated by police.
