A 19-year-old man from Burnie has been charged with multiple offences following a series of vehicle, shed and garage burglaries in the Park Grove area last week.

Yesterday, detectives from Burnie and Devonport CIBs executed a search at a residence in Devonport and recovered stolen property from the burglaries.  The property recovered included a gel blaster firearm, a hunting knife, fishing tackle and a mobile phone.

The man was arrested and has been charged with the following offences:
10 x Burglary;
5 x Aggravated Burglary;
1 x Attempted Aggravated Burglary;
6 x Stealing;
1 x Stealing Firearm or Firearm Part;

The man appeared at the Burnie Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to reappear at a later date.
