Men charged over evade incidents

A 22 year old Waverley man has been charged with evade police and other driving offences and bailed in relation to an evade incident in Launceston on Sunday night.

 

Inquiries are still continuing in relation to the armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza in Kings Meadows.

 

Police are calling for witnesses or CCTV/dashcam footage of anything suspicious in the Kings Meadows area around 9.30pm on Sunday night – particularly if they saw a blue Holden commodore sedan with a red rear spoiler.

 

In relation to a firearms burglary and evade police incident in Ravenswood at 8am on Monday, a 32 year old Waverley man has been charged with:

 

  • aggravated burglary, stealing x 2, evade police (aggravated), possess firearms, sell controlled drug and other drug charges.

 

The man was detained to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court today.

 

A 25 year old Prospect man was charged with drug offence and bailed to appear at a later date.
