Missing person – Graham David Johnstone

Police are investigating a missing persons report for Mr Graham Johnstone, of Waverley in Northern Tasmania after family members lodged a concern for welfare.

 

Mr Johnstone, 78, was last seen on the 1st January at around 1pm, at a family address on the Tasman Highway, Waverley.

 

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white sneakers, a cream or green coloured polo top and wears gold wire frame glasses.

 

He is described as being 170cm tall of slim build with short/grey ginger hair, hazel eyes and a fair complexion.

 

Mr Johnstone had a stroke about 6-7 years ago, which has left him slow to verbalise and he can be unsteady on his feet.

 

He drives a 2004 silver, Honda CRV, registration number EW4395.  It is a standard model, the only after market addition is a silver metal bull bar fitted to the front.

 

Mr Johnstone enjoys going for long drives, but he generally is back within a day.

 

He likes to visit Nile, Deddington, Blessington, Patersonia and Ben Lomond and take roads and logging tracks that aren’t regularly used.
