Burnie Police are investigating a single vehicle crash, involving a laden prime mover truck which occurred approximately 4.20 pm on Tuesday the 18^th of May 2021 on Massey Greene Drive, Emu Heights.

Initial investigations indicate that the truck has suffered a mechanical failure and was unable to brake, the truck quickly lost control as it was descending the hill and crashed onto the passenger side.

Tasmanian Ambulance Service, Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police responded to the crash.

The driver of the truck suffered only minor injuries and has been released from hospital.
