On Sunday afternoon 13/10/19 members of Northern Road & Public Order Services detected a 21 year old West Hobart man travelling South on the Midland Highway at Powranna.

His vehicle, a black 2003 Subaru WRX Impressa was checked at 172 kmh.

He was issued an infringement notice for $963, 6 demerit points and a mandatory period of 4 month licence disqualification.

His vehicle was also clamped by police for 28 days.
