Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash involving a cyclist on Osborne Esplanade at Kingston Beach this morning.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 7am.

Initial investigations indicate the cyclist, a man in his early 50s, was travelling north on Osborne Esplanade when he came off his bike and collided with a car travelling in the other direction. Sadly, he died at the scene.

Police, including crash investigators, remain at the scene and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
