Murder charge

A 41 year old man from Franklin has appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 18th December 18, 2011 charged with one count of murder and one count of arson.

Operation Crossroads

Motorists have been reminded of the safe driving message as the official Christmas road toll period begins tomorrow (23 December). Last year two people were killed in crashes on Tasmania’s roads during the reporting period.

Burnie Criminal Investigation Branch has charged a fourteen year old male youth in relation to a large number of vehicle burglaries in Wynyard overnight on 11/12 December.
