Detectives investigating the disappearance of missing schoolgirl Eve Askew are calling for assistance from members of the public in an attempt to clarify the identification a person of interest. Eve was last seen alive 20 years ago.

At about 9:30 am this morning a two vehicle crash occurred on the West Tamar Highway near Lanena.

Patient airlifted from Nubeena

At 9:40am on Tuesday 13/12/11 Ambulance Tasmania tasked the Westpac Police Rescue helicopter to evacuate a patient from Nubeena.

Motorcycle impounded for speed

A rider has had his motorcycle impounded after he was caught speeding at 148km/h on the Bass Highway.
