Police calling for public information after teenager charged with dangerous driving in Devonport

Police have charged a 19-year-old Devonport man following a dangerous driving incident in Stony Rise, East Devonport and Devonport yesterday morning.

The vehicle involved, a black Holden Commodore Utility with green panels has been seized by police, after the man crashed in Wenvoe Street, Devonport.

The man has been charged with dangerous driving, damaging property, assaulting and resisting police, and other traffic-related offences. He is due to reappear in the Devonport Magistrates Court in May.

Anyone who witnessed the car being driven in Stony Rise or East Devonport between 11:10am and 11:30am on Thursday, 24 March is asked to contact Devonport CIB on 131 444.
