Police continue to investigate Invermay shooting incident

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting incident at Invermay on Sunday night.

As part of the ongoing investigation a 26-year-old Mowbray man has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Police continue to follow a particular line of enquiry and are still seeking a second man involved in the attack.

The 33-year-old man who has sustained a wound to his left eye/temple area has been released from Hospital but will require ongoing treatment as a result of his injuries.

Police would like to thank members of the community for the information already supplied and encourage anyone with information who hasn’t spoken to police to come forward.
