Police investigate deliberately lit fire in South Burnie
Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire at a large chemical warehouse in South Burnie overnight.
About 2:15am this morning,
Tasmania Fire Service and police were called to the fire, which was quickly controlled and extinguished.
Extensive damage caused to the building, nearby storage containers and products is estimated to be in excess of $60,000.
The fire has been deemed as suspicious and police investigations are continuing.
