Police investigate firearms incident near Kempton
| Police and emergency services were called to a report of a firearms incident near Kempton where a man received non-life threatening injuries to his foot about 5.30am today.
A 27 year old man is currently being treated at the Royal Hobart Hospital for his injuries. Police are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the firearms incident. Police are particularly interested in a red Ford Courier utility which was travelling in the Bothwell/Kempton/Melton Mowbray areas at the time of the incident.
