Police investigate Kingston firearms incident between parties known to each other

Police are investigating a firearms incident between people known to each other at a Kingston residence last night.

Around 9.40pm police responded to a report of a disturbance at an address on Lucas Street.

Two men and a woman had attended the Lucas Street address and a confrontation has occurred with the occupants of the residence.

One of the men allegedly threatened one of the occupants with a firearm and discharged it outside the residence.

No injuries occurred and the residence was not damaged, nor was there any damage to any surrounding property.

It is believed the people involved were known to each other and the incident was the result of a dispute between the parties.

Police attended but the offenders had left the area prior to arrival. They are described as:

  • Woman in her late 30s, petite with blonde hair.
  • Two men, in their mid-late 30s, both around 182cm, solid build, and wearing dark clothing.

It is suspected a vehicle may have been involved however there is no description available.
